Emily Burns (born 22 September 1994) is a singer-songwriter originally from Rugby, England, now based in London. Her music style is influenced by artists such as Michael Jackson, Pink and Corinne Bailey Ray. Her debut single, "Plasters, Glitter and Glue," was released on 12 August 2013.
Emily attended a masterclass at Abbey Road Studios in 2010 where she met Rob Cass, who subsequently signed her to his company Cave Productions. She has since gone on to perform at numerous festivals, including a tour of the Czech Republic and appearances on two different stages at the Secret Garden Party. Emily also had a slot on the BBC introducing stage at T in The Park in July 2013, which led to her being playlisted on BBC Radio 1.
