Era Istrefi (born July 4, 1994) is a Kosovar Albanian singer and songwriter.
She gained recognition locally following the release of her debut single Mani për money in 2013 when she was 19. Over the next two years, Istrefi released the singles A po don? in 2014, Njo si ti and Shumë pis in 2015 featuring Ledri Vula. For her contributions to the music industry, Istrefi won three Videofest Awards and two Top Music Awards.
In 2016, Istrefi achieved international recognition after the release of her single BonBon, which drew comparisons to the works of Australian singer Sia and Barbadian artist Rihanna. Following the song's success which has over 310 million views on YouTube, she signed to American record labels Sony Music and Ultra Music one month later. In 2017, she won the European Border Breakers Award.
Era Istrefi holds dual citizenship, Kosovan and Albanian.
